WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. — A woman in the front passenger seat of a man’s car is said to have been physically abused by the man.
The event was reported to the West Palm Beach Police Department on December 10, 2022, after the victim came forward and said she had cut the guy on the outside of his right arm with a folding pocket knife, leaving fresh blood on the knife.
The blood helped the police figure out who the man was, the arrest report says.
The arrest record says that on April 10, the West Palm Beach Police Department was able to figure out that Lenoris Davis, who is 42 years old, was the person who hurt the victim.
According to the police report, the woman met the man near the UGas at 1117 Palm Beach Lakes Blvd., where he asked her if she knew where he could buy weed.
The victim got into the car with Davis so he could take him to a place where he could buy marijuana. She said that the car she got into was either a green or gray Honda or Toyota.
The police report says that after the two bought pot, the victim kept telling Davis that she wanted to go back to Georgia because her husband was coming to get her soon. The police report says that no matter how many times she asked, he wouldn’t drive her back and told her she wasn’t going anywhere. He also wouldn’t let her out of the car.
The victim tried to open the door several times, but it seemed to be locked from the inside, according to the police report.
The 58-year-old woman told police that Davis then drove his car into a graveyard at 2499 N Tamarind Avenue, which made her “fear for her life,” according to the arrest report.
West Palm Beach Police Spokesperson Mike Jachles said, “Davis got violent and took the woman against her will to an old burial ground from the Hurricane of 1928 on Tamarind Avenue, where he raped her.” “She was trying to escape. She tried to fight with him.”
The woman then pulled out her pocket knife and asked to be let out of the car, the arrest report says. Davis then held her down with his elbow. When he tried to grab the knife, he cut his left index finger, which made the knife fall on the floorboard behind the passenger seat.
The person who was being chased tried parking the car as another way to get away. The police report says that Davis then climbed on top of her and told her to take off her clothes.
She did what Davis asked because she was afraid for her life, and then he sexually abused her.
The police report says that after the sexual assault was over, she managed to get the knife from the floorboard and stab Davis in the outside of his upper right arm.
The arrest record says that after she stabbed him, she ran away and called the police to report the crime.
Davis was caught because his DNA was found on the knife.
Davis was charged with one count of sexual abuse by force or threat and one count of kidnapping to commit or help commit a crime.
Authorities said that this wasn’t the only person Davis hurt.
“On November 28, Lenoris Davis was driving his car when he saw a 35-year-old woman walking on Division Avenue. He stopped his car and started talking to her,” Jachles said. “I followed her, cut her off, got out of my car, and roughly pulled her into my car. She tried to scream and honk the horn, but he held her down.
Officers said the victim got away before anything else bad happened.
The Palm Beach County Main Detention Center is holding Davis.
Detectives think that there could be more people who have been hurt. If you know anything, you should tell the cops.
