Shocking 1 Dead, 6 Injured in Orange County Crash!

An accident that occurred early in the morning in Orange County is being looked into by the Florida Highway Patrol.

At around 4:30 in the am on Sunday, the collision took place close to where Dean Road and State Road 408 joined.

According to the findings of the investigation, a Toyota 4Runner was heading eastward off the State Road 408 exit ramps when it made a left turn onto Dean Road while the light was still green.

During this time, a Hyundai Santa Fe that was heading southbound on Dean Road crossed a red light, exceeded the speed limit, and collided head-on with the left side of the Toyota.

The force of the incident caused the Hyundai to collide with the median curb, which then caused it to tip onto its side.

At the site of the accident, the driver of the Toyota, who was 23 years old and from Palm Coast, was declared dead.

The driver of the Hyundai, a 15-year-old boy from Orlando, and five adolescent passengers were all taken to the hospital with injuries that were not considered to be life-threatening.

There were six persons in the car, and five of them were taken to Arnold Palmer Hospital. One of the passengers was sent to Orlando Regional Medical Center.

The identifying information of the individuals involved is still being verified by the troopers that responded.

According to the FHP, the Orange County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that the Hyundai was a vehicle that had been reported stolen.

On Dean Road, there is a traffic jam that is now affecting both the northbound and southbound lanes.

The cause of this accident has not yet been determined.
