OKLAHOMA CITY — Police say there was a shooting in a bar in the southwest part of Oklahoma City on Saturday night. At least three people were killed and another three were hurt.
Police Lieutenant Jeff Cooper said that six people were shot inside the Whiskey Barrel Saloon around 9 p.m. on Saturday. Three people were found dead inside the bar, and three were taken to the hospital. One person was in critical condition, and the other two didn’t have injuries that could kill them.
We are working a significant incident with large law enforcement presence in the 4100-block of Newcastle Road. The scene is just west of S. Portland Avenue. Please avoid the area as investigators will be on scene for some time. pic.twitter.com/WhMcEWb9Xs

Cooper said that there is no new information about the suspects or the victims at this time. He said that the only time the department hears anything new about a victim is if they die from their injuries. The bar is on the corner of S Shawnee Road and Newcastle Road.
Master Sgt. Gary Knight of the Oklahoma City Police Department said in an email that early information suggests this was a “shootout between several rival biker gangs.”
Cooper said that even though so many people were shot, the police will look into it “just like any other murder.”
