JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office said that on Tuesday morning, a gardening crew working along I-95 near Broward Road on the Northside found human bones in the woods.
Investigators say that the gardeners called the cops at 8:15 a.m. when they found the body parts, which have been found to belong to a man.
Investigators said the body parts were in an “advanced state of decomposition,” so an autopsy will be needed to find out who they belong to and what killed them. But the cops don’t think anyone did anything wrong right now.
The medical inspector took the body parts, which cops said looked like they had been there for at least two to three weeks, if not longer.
