Deputies in Orange County reported that three men were injured, with one in critical condition, following a shooting near Old Winter Garden Road.
The incident occurred around 5:30 a.m. near Hiawassee Road, and law enforcement found the three victims.
Among the victims, one man was critically wounded, and as of the latest update, they were all receiving treatment at local hospitals, according to officials. The individuals involved are in their 20s and 30s, according to investigators.
Deputies have not disclosed whether any suspects have been apprehended, and they have not provided information regarding a potential motive for the shooting.
A witness recounted that he was at the Washington Hookah Lounge on Old Winter Garden Road with friends when he heard gunshots.
“It was just loud noises at first. I thought it was part of the song. Then I realized it was gun shots. They shot like 6 or 7 times,” he said.
As of noon, the sheriff’s investigators were still present at the scene, and crime scene tape remained around the lounge and the surrounding business plaza.
