When a woman from South Carolina noticed a snake on her car while driving to work, it gave her quite the scare.

The woman, who WYFF, a local broadcaster, only identified as L. Ford, observed the big lizard on the hood of her car earlier this week while driving to work.

“I was about halfway to work when I saw this black snake slithering back and forth across my hood,” Ford stated. “At one point, it got between my wind guards and my window.”

“Luckily, I had both windows rolled up,” she continued.

Ford managed to record the lizard on camera as it was on her vehicle. She did, however, acknowledge that it was a really frightening moment. “I was … dying of a panic attack. Snakes are my biggest phobia,” Ford admitted.

According to Ford, “I’m guessing it was in my engine compartment, and once it got too hot, it decided to move to a cooler spot, and that’s when I saw it.”

Following her drive, Ford further stated that the animal had not been located. “Hopefully, it exited my vehicle and found a new home,” she added.
