A 17-year-old boy is accused of shooting and killing an 18-year-old woman after an argument in Orlando over the weekend.

The police in Orlando said they arrested Caleb Smith, who is 17 years old, on Friday. He’s charged with second-degree murder for the shooting that happened on Saturday afternoon.

According to the police, the shooting took place on Bel Air Avenue near Curry Ford Road at around 2:55 p.m. on Saturday.

The police said that a man and a woman, identified as Anguely Rodriguez-Torres, who was 18 years old, were walking on the sidewalk when they were approached by a man who said he knew them.

The investigators said the person arguing with them shot the woman in the back and quickly left the area.

Rodriguez-Torres sadly passed away at the hospital.

The police mentioned that Smith was taken into custody on Friday for the murder charge, and also for having a gun despite being too young.
