The suspected murderer must now look for a ninth defense lawyer because Sarah Boone’s lawyer has requested to be removed from her case.
In relation to her partner Jorge Torres’ death in Winter Park, Florida in February 2020, Boone, 42, has been charged with second-degree murder. Police reported that after she placed him in a bag, he passed away. Boone has insisted that after playing hide-and-seek, her partner passed away.
According to her statement to authorities, the couple had become inebriated and were giggling about the thought of his getting zipped up in the suitcase.
Police claimed they discovered two recordings on the woman’s phone in which the man allegedly yelled that he couldn’t breathe as she laughed. According to WKMG, her response was, “Yeah, that’s what you do when you choke me.”
She allegedly said, “That’s on you. “Oh, that is how I feel when you cheat on me.”
Police say one of the cameras shows the suspect attempting to flee. Another shows the bags in a different place as Torres cries out to Boone. Investigators claimed they detained Boone because her statements were conflicting.
Patricia Cashman, Boone’s former defense attorney, filed a motion this week to withdraw from the case, making her the seventh counsel to do so.

In court documents, Cashman claimed irreconcilable differences, “including, but not limited to, ethical considerations.” Court TV reported that Cashman represented Boone at a hearing on Friday.
During that hearing, Boone sent the judge presiding over the case a 58-page letter protesting about Cashman, whom Boone described as having a “snotty attitude.”
“I’ve never experienced anyone like Ms Cashman,” Boone stated to the judge on Friday.
‘She will change her disposition and her attitude towards me, and it doesn’t matter how dumbed-down I am to myself to try to coexist with her. I’ve even come up with the solution to have a pretend judge in interactions with her so she would try hopefully to treat me appropriately and professionally, which she does not do.”
