A man from Tampa has claimed the one million dollar prize that was up for grabs in the “$1,000,000 a Year for Life” game that was offered by the Florida Lottery.
The scratch-off lottery ticket that was purchased at Active Food Mart in Tampa, Florida, which is located at 1401 West Waters Ave, has been determined to have been won by Kiet Tran, who is 53 years old.
Because they were able to sell the ticket, the business will receive a bonus commission of $2,000.
According to the Florida Lottery, Tran opted to accept his win as a single payment of $640,000 rather than splitting it up.
The scratch-off game that costs $50 and was released in February offers two top prizes of $1 million a year for life, as well as 234 other rewards of $1 million, in addition to a number of smaller cash prizes.
According to the Florida Lottery, the total odds of winning are one in every 4.5 chances.
