A man in his thirties was brought into jail by the police in Palm Beach Gardens on suspicion of attempting to kidnap a child who was just four years old from the playground of an apartment complex there. The child was only four years old.
The gathering took place on Sunday evening at seven o’clock in the San Merano at Mirasol apartment complex, which can be found on the 22000 block of Portofino Circle in Mirasol.
Police officers in Palm Beach Gardens are said to have witnessed a resident of the property named Joseph Gibson attempting to leave the playground area with a child who was 4 years old.
According to the investigators, nearby residents quickly took action and detained the culprit until the arrival of law enforcement officials at the scene.
Gibson is being charged with wrongfully imprisoning a child despite the fact that the child did not sustain any injuries as a result of the incident for which he is being investigated.
