A Stabbing Victim in Tampa Died While Attempting to Halt a Woman's Assault

Following a tragic stabbing that took place at Borrell Park on Sunday, law enforcement in Tampa has apprehended a suspect in connection with the incident.

On Monday, the police made public their announcement that 32-year-old Jonathan Miller Jr. had been taken into custody.

When the incident took place, it was alleged that he was in the middle of an argument with a woman.

The victim, a guy in his 30s, allegedly watched the alleged assault and tried to interfere, which led to a physical altercation between the two parties.

The victim was reportedly attacked by Miller as a result of this altercation, which escalated and resulted in the victim being stabbed, as reported by the police.

According to the investigation conducted by the Tampa police, all three people were acquainted with one another.

The woman was hurt, but her wounds were not considered to be life-threatening.

Miller was caught the following morning after making an attempt to elude law enforcement officials.

He is currently being investigated for both assault and murder.
