Breaking News: Deadly Shooting in Jacksonville Leaves Two Men Dead!

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office is now conducting an investigation into a shooting that resulted in the deaths of two males. According to the JSO, the incident took place at around 3 a.m. on Saturday at the intersection of Forysth and Julia Streets.

According to the police, members of the Jacksonville Fire Rescue team were also there. On the scene, one of the guys tragically passed away. The second guy was taken to a hospital, where doctors attempted to save his life but were ultimately unable.

Due to Marcy’s Law, the JSO is prohibited from disclosing the identities of crime victims; nevertheless, the victims’ families have identified the two men as Damien Sinclair and Alphonso Sanders to News4Jax. The family has confirmed to News4JAX that the two individuals are related.

Their uncle Leonard Ross said that the two were having a good time somewhere.

“All these young people cared about was going out and having a good time. “I was just having fun at the club like most kids do, and then something like this happened,” Russ said.

He said that both of them would sacrifice everything for the sake of their family.

“If you knew them and you were family, then no matter what you knew, you were family, and they would do anything for you,” Russ stated. Both of them were really outstanding human beings.

JSO is currently scouring the security footage from local establishments at this time. According to the police, it seems that a large number of other vehicles in the neighborhood were also damaged by gunfire. JSO reports that witnesses are now being interrogated.
