TAMPA, Fla. — According to the state troopers, an Alabama man passed away early on Saturday morning after being involved in an explosive collision in Hillsborough County.
The Florida Highway Patrol reported that at 2:43 in the morning, a car driven by a male who was 23 years old and who was from Ruskin collided with the rear of a gas truck that was traveling on US-41.
According to the troopers, there was an explosion that occurred shortly prior to the tanker colliding with a power pole.
In the meanwhile, the report from the Florida roadway Patrol said that the automobile went off the roadway and overturned following the accident.
The driver of the tanker truck, a guy in his 49th year from Montgomery, Alabama, passed away as a result of the accident. According to the state police, the guy from Ruskin managed to live despite suffering significant injuries.
Troopers with the Florida Highway Patrol are now searching for two drivers who they say saw the collision. The owners of the two Dodge Chargers that can be seen in the video that is seen above are urged to get in touch with the Florida Highway Patrol by dialing (813) 558-1800 or *FHP.
