Parents of kids at Osceola Creek Middle in Palm Beach County are being told that all children are safe after an alleged threat was made on social media.
The director of the Loxahatchee Groves school told parents on Thursday that the school was running as usual. Outside the school, there are more police officers, and parents are being told they don’t need to come to pick up their kids.
On Wednesday, a student at the nearby G-Star High School of the Arts was arrested for making a fake gun threat at the Palm Springs school.
This threat was accompanied by a picture of a gun and the words “You’d better count your days.” Officers locked down the school while they looked for a gun they never found.
