Capital Offender Accused of Heinous Murder of 2-Year-Old Son and Mother!

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — Thomas Mosley, age 21, is suspected of murdering his two-year-old son Taylen and his mother after celebrating his birthday in late March. State prosecutors want to seek the death sentence for Mosley, who will be tried as a capital offender.

The prosecution claims in a document that they have sufficient evidence to support their case that the act was “especially heinous, atrocious, or cruel.” This is according to the filing that was made in court.

After the discovery of his mother’s body in her apartment with more than one hundred knife wounds, the authorities were called and reported Taylen as missing. Taylen’s mother, Pashun Jeffery, was 20 years old.

After a day had passed, Taylen’s body was discovered at Lake Maggiore, still inside the mouth of an alligator. According to the findings of the investigation, Mosley took Taylen to the lake and then either flung him or put him in the water.

The cause of the toddler’s death was eventually determined to be drowning, according to the St. Petersburg Police Department.

According to the police, Thomas killed both Jeffery and their kid before going to his mother’s home with wounds to his arms and hands. Jeffery and their son were both killed. According to the authorities, he suffered injuries “consistent with injuries caused by slippage during a knife attack.”

Both of the victims’ deaths were attributed to him, and he was charged with two counts of first-degree murder.
