On Saturday, June 8, the former president Donald Trump will be in Orange County. He is scheduled to speak at a fully booked campaign event in Newport Beach.
The venue is the home of John Word, a successful health insurance businessman, and his spouse.
An invitation listed the prices of the various events, from a $3,300 lunch reception to a $100,000 roundtable host committee membership. The opportunity to get a photo with Trump costs $35,000, and you can raise $75,000.
“It’s sold out. We are at the point of turning people away unfortunately. It shows the excitement we have for the president coming out to Orange County,” Tony Strickland, the Huntington Beach City Councilman stated.
All motor traffic will be prohibited from entering Bayside Drive between Jamboree Road and Pacific Coast Highway. Only locals with valid identification, a passport, or another form of proof of address will be allowed entry.
There will be street closures until three p.m., the Newport Beach Police Department has announced.
Trump is in California for his third fundraiser in three days. Republican National Committeewoman Harmeet K. Dhillon claims that he raised $12 million at a fundraiser in San Francisco on Thursday and then held one in Beverly Hills on Friday.
Around six in the evening, Trump’s entourage pulled up to a home on Elm Drive close to Sunset Boulevard. There was a gathering of supporters outside, many of whom were cheering as the motorcade went by and waving Trump or American flags.

The proprietor of a chain of assisted living facilities, Lee Samson, hosted the fundraiser at his house.
The price of a ticket may range from $5,000 to $250,000, which would identify the buyer as the event chair. Additional ticket costs included $100,000 to join in a roundtable discussion and $40,000, or raising $75,000, for a picture opportunity.
It is standard procedure for a presidential candidate’s fundraiser to be closed to the media.
