Last month, Jeff Vinik, the owner of the Tampa Bay Lightning, bought a $5 million house next to the Palma Ceia Golf & Country Club.
According to records from the Hillsborough County Clerk of Court, Vinik and his wife Penny closed on the house at 908 S. Golf View St. on March 24.
Their main house, at 914 S. Golf View St., is right next door. They also own 3308 Jean Cir., which is a third house in the area.
In February, the Viniks paid $8.34 million for the penthouse at the Tampa Edition. It is the most expensive condo in the Tampa Bay area that has ever been sold.
