TAMPA, Fla. – According to the Dade City Police Department, a guy from Dade City who had previously been accused of strangling his fiancée was stabbed by a youngster on Tuesday.
Officers from the Dade City Police Department and the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office rushed to the vicinity of Willingham Avenue and Hestor Lake after receiving reports of a domestic dispute that resulted in someone being stabbed.
Officers said that upon their arrival, they discovered the domestic disagreement had escalated into a violent state. The man is claimed to have strangled his partner with his hands and choked her until she passed out, according to the police.
According to the investigators, one of the woman’s children tried to interfere in the situation; nevertheless, the guy proceeded to beat a 12-year-old and a 16-year-old with a broom handle, striking them many times. According to the authorities, the individual is not linked to the children in any way.
During the assault, the guy was stabbed by one of the children, according to the police, who added that the youngster was equipped with a kitchen knife.
The man reportedly ran away from the location before police officers could arrive after a neighbor contacted 911 to report the incident.
The man, whose identity was later revealed to be that of 39-year-old Donald Parker, was reportedly brought into jail by authorities. According to the police, he did suffer many stab wounds as a result of the event and had to be transported by helicopter to a hospital for treatment. As a result of the life-threatening injuries, he did end up needing surgery.
According to the police, Parker did in fact suffer from life-threatening injuries and needed surgery. According to the authorities, his operation was a success, and he is anticipated to make a full recovery.
When Parker is discharged from the hospital, he will immediately be sent to the jail to be processed and booked.
