A young girl from Mississippi is being detained in an adult correctional facility for what is allegedly an attempt to kill her own mother. The violent attack seems to have been motivated by a variety of occult beliefs.
Lexi Jade Brown, 15, is charged with one count of attempted murder and one count of first-degree arson, the Gulfport Police Department announced in a press release on Monday.
On June 14, the event happened early in the morning, according to the police department.
At that point, according to the police, they got a call regarding a cutting incident at a home on Dee Avenue in a mostly rural region of Gulfport that was close to a sizable wooded area.
When authorities got to the residence on the last block of Dee Avenue at 2:33 in the morning, they discovered the supposed victim had many stab wounds.

Authorities claim that the girl’s mother informed them that the assault started while she was asleep and that when she awoke, her daughter was allegedly using a knife to strike her.
According to the mother, her daughter attempted to set a fire inside the house after she had repelled the small girl.
In order to heal, the mother of the girl was sent to a local hospital. Nobody is aware of the full degree of her injuries at this time.
The defendant, according to the police, was honest about the heinous crime.
Brown reportedly openly confessed to detectives that she had been plotting her mother’s murder for a while because she considered the elder woman to be a “weird bāāāā.”
Law enforcement claims that the 15-year-old also stated that her mother had been “suppressing the black in her.” The inquiry is still on.
Police said that Brown was taken into custody and placed under arrest at the Harrison County Adult Detention Center. Judge Nick Patano of the District 5 Justice Court placed her bond at $1.25 million.
However, as of this writing, there is no publicly available record of an inmate in the county jail going by Brown’s name in any capacity.
