Palm Beach County House Fire: Investigation Underway After Home is Engulfed

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. — A residence was destroyed by a fire, leaving three individuals without a place to live.

On Thursday afternoon, Palm Beach County Fire Rescue (PBCFR) responded to a house fire on Westover Road in the unincorporated area of West Palm Beach.

Upon arrival at the scene, fire crews observed dense smoke emerging from within the house. Flames were also observed blazing through the rear section of the roof.

The homeowner communicated to the firefighters that no other individuals were present in the house. This was subsequently confirmed by firefighters after conducting a swift search indoors.

Approximately 30 minutes later, the fire was brought under control. Additional firefighting and EMS units were also dispatched to enhance coverage.

Investigative teams are presently working to ascertain the fire’s origin and cause.

Although no injuries were reported, the Red Cross was summoned to provide aid to the three displaced occupants.
