A school employee in Palm Beach County was charged with possessing a firearm and a knife on school property, but she was not sentenced to prison time.
After being charged with possession of a firearm on school grounds, which is a third-degree felony that is punishable by up to five years in prison, 42-year-old Robert Krasnicki has agreed to a plea agreement in which he would admit guilt in exchange for reduced charges.
Krasnicki is required to participate in a pre-trial intervention program that lasts for one year and involves a mental health examination and therapy if it’s deemed necessary, in addition to 40 hours of community service and a gun safety class that he must attend.
Krasnicki informed the police that the ex-husband of his ex-girlfriend’s ex-husband had removed the brakes to his vehicle and that he was being followed and listened to via his phone when he was found with the firearms at Royal Palm Beach High School in January.
