On Sunday, a tragic accident occurred on Monroe Street and Interstate-10, involving a single vehicle, resulting in the loss of two lives.
Investigators reported that one passenger passed away from their injuries at the scene, while the driver was taken to a nearby hospital with critical injuries.
The Tallahassee Police Department shared information about the incident on their Facebook page. In response, Mike Foor, the father of the driver, commented on the post, confirming that the victims were his son and his son’s girlfriend.
Foor said in his comment that “This was my son and his girlfriend. The doctors have said that they have done everything that they can for him and that it’s only a matter of time.”
On Monday, TPD provided an update about the crash, stating that Foor’s son passed away from his injuries.
TPD noted in a Facebook post regarding the crash, “This remains an ongoing investigation, however, no additional updates will be provided.”
