West Palm Beach Accident: Homeless Individual Killed in Road Collision

Authorities in West Palm Beach reported that a homeless individual, aged 42, lost their life in a collision while crossing a road on Tuesday afternoon.

The incident, involving a Chevrolet Silverado, took place a little before 12:30 p.m. at the crossing of Belvedere Road and Parker Avenue.

Law enforcement mentioned that the person was pulled around 10 feet by the truck before it came to a halt.

After conducting an investigation, the authorities have decided not to press charges against the driver.

For the duration of the inquiry into the tragic accident, Belvedere Road was shut down from Parker Avenue to Interstate 95. The road became accessible again shortly before 4 p.m.

The identity of the victim has not yet been disclosed.
