PAHOKEE — The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office said Saturday that someone shot at a deputy. They want to find out who fired the gun.
Crime Stoppers of Palm Beach County is offering $13,000 for “any information” about a shooting that happened on Friday at 9:20 p.m.
The agency hasn’t said who the officer was, but they were on patrol in Pahokee in the 1400 block of Joe Louis Boulevard when a bullet hit their cruiser. The agency’s spokesperson, Teri Barbera, said that it hurt the car but did not hurt the agent.
The sheriff’s office said the deputy’s escape was “miraculous” and asked anyone with knowledge to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-458-TIPS.
