17-Year-Old Charged with Attempted Second Degree Murder!

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – On Tuesday, a male juvenile aged 17 was taken into custody about a shooting that took place over the weekend at Florida State University.

The juvenile is now being held at the Leon County Juvenile Detention Facility and is being charged with two counts of Attempted Second Degree Murder.

Because he is a kid, the police are unable to identify him, but they have said that he is not associated with the college.

One individual was shot and taken to the hospital in the early hours of Saturday morning in the parking lot outside of DeGraff Hall on the university campus.

According to the allegations made by the FSU police, the suspect and the person who was shot got into a fight before the shooting.

During the argument, the police say that the suspect was subjected to a physical assault by the teenager and the group that he was with. After that, the suspect allegedly drew a pistol on the victim, according to the FSU Police Department.

According to the allegations made by the department, he shot the victim before fleeing the scene with the other individuals.

A warning was sent by the university just before 1 am ordering individuals on campus to take cover in their current locations. The directives were revoked just before 2:00 in the morning.
