A Woman From Boca Raton Was Arrested After Leading Police on a High-speed Chase

CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. — After leading law enforcement on a high-speed chase through the streets of South Florida for more than a month, a Boca Raton lady was taken into custody.

On March 7, a Coral Springs Police officer reported seeing a red Nissan Versa traveling northbound on State Road 7 at an excessively high rate of speed.

According to the Coral Springs law enforcement official, he made many attempts to stop the Versa.

The officer stated that he used his flashing red and blue lights and siren, as well as the public address system in his vehicle, and ordered the driver of the Versa to come to a halt.

The officer is quoted in the report as saying that the motorist “reached speeds of approximately seventy miles per hour before I lost visual.”

Additionally, the aforementioned vehicle overtook a number of other vehicles while exhibiting a callous disregard for the well-being of both people and property.

The officer said that he then gave up the pursuit of the suspect.

After that, he looked through the records of the Department of Highway Safety Motor Vehicles and discovered that Samantha Neuber, who is 25 years old, was the owner of the Versa.

After looking at the photos on Neuber’s license, he was able to establish that the lady he had seen driving the Versa was in fact Neuber.

Neuber was taken into custody on April 22 after a warrant was issued for her arrest.

Neuber was arrested and placed into jail before being charged with two felony charges of escaping at a high speed and fleeing with contempt for the safety of individuals.
