WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. — SunFest starts this Friday and will bring some of the best musicians in the world to the beach in downtown West Palm Beach.
The music event will be a little smaller this year. It will only last three days instead of the usual four. This year, there are only two rounds.
Paul Jamieson, who is in charge of SunFest, says that they also chose to skip the art shows, K5 race, and fireworks show this year. Instead, they wanted to put more attention on the music and spend more money on better artists.
“Even though we have one less day and one less stage than last year, we are spending more money this year,” he said.
“The Chainsmokers, The Killers, and Jack Johnson might have been the biggest names at SunFest in almost any other year, but they are all here this year, which shows how serious we are about it.
Ziggy Marley and 311 are two acts that always play at SunFest. They’ve all been here before, and people love them, so we’re looking forward to all of them.”
On Friday, the gates will open at 5 p.m., and on Saturday and Sunday, they will open at noon.
SunFest is held in downtown West Palm Beach, between Banyan Boulevard and Lakeview Avenue, on the waterfront of Flager Drive.
A day pass costs $90. Keep in mind that when you buy a one-day pass, you have to say which day you want to attend.
Free for kids under 5 years old.
