A Palm Beach Lakes High School student was arrested on Thursday after a loaded gun was found on campus.
Principal David Alfonso says that cops from the school district took away the weapon, which was not being used in a threatening way.
Still, he says that the school follows the zero-tolerance rule of the district. The kid could be kicked out of school.
A tip from another kid at the school helped find the gun.
Schools all over the state tell kids and teachers to use the Fortify Florida app to report anything that seems strange.
