Adult film actress Stormy Daniels says she had an affair with Trump in 2006. Even though Trump denies having an affair with her, he paid her $130,000 to keep quiet about it through his lawyer before the 2016 election. One of the most likely reasons for the charges is that the payment wasn’t filed correctly and counts as a campaign expense.
Daniels told the Times of London, “You can no longer touch Trump.” “A powerful person is not above the law. And no matter what your job is or how much money you have, you will be held responsible for what you’ve said and done, and justice will be done.
The charges against the former president have not been made public, which is a first. However, he is expected to turn himself into authorities in Manhattan this week. If he doesn’t turn himself in, he’ll probably be arrested and sent to New York.

Trump said earlier this month that he would be arrested last week, but he was wrong. In that message, he called for huge protests and used words similar to those used before the uprising on January 6.
“No matter what happens, it will lead to violence, and people will get hurt and die,” Daniels said. “There is a chance that this will lead to a lot of good. But a lot of bad things will happen either way.”
She said that because of the indictment, she has been getting a lot of threats.

A second payment of hush money to Playboy model Karen McDougal is also being looked into by the Manhattan District Attorney. McDougal says she also had an affair with Trump and was paid $150,000 to keep quiet about it.
Trump is also being investigated for three other crimes. One is in Georgia, where it is said that he tried to change the results of the 2020 election there, and the other two are in Washington, D.C., where they are looking into his role in the Jan. 6 uprising and how he handled classified documents.
