Following the discovery of a man who had been shot to death on Friday, the Tampa Police Department has opened an investigation into an early morning homicide and is asking for the public’s assistance in providing information.
On Friday morning, around 5:46 a.m., law enforcement officials were dispatched to the 1100 block of W Lemon Street in response to a report of a “unresponsive subject.”
The adult male victim was pronounced dead at the site by the responding officers when they discovered he had a deadly gunshot wound.
The investigation into what caused the incident being carried out by the detectives is proceeding in a methodical manner.
